We provide scalability, security, and modern UI/UX with custom R packages that native Shiny apps do not provide. At Appsilon, we are among the world’s foremost experts in R Shiny and have made a variety of <a href="https://appsilon.com/how-we-built-a-shiny-app-for-700-users/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Shiny innovations</a> over the years. We cover everything from business analysis and data science consulting to code refactoring. <blockquote>See our work: <a class="editor-rtfLink" href="https://demo.appsilon.ai/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Appsilon's Shiny Demos</a></blockquote> <h3>Wildlife Image Classification with Machine Learning</h3> Since 2018 we've been working with <a class="editor-rtfLink" href="https://scienceparcsgabon.weebly.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Gabon's National Park Agency</a> to lead a large-scale biodiversity monitoring program that uses 200 camera traps to survey the mammal population in Lopé and Waka National Parks (comprising 7000 km2 of a continuous forest). The aim of this project has been to build capacity for long-term, scientifically rigorous biodiversity monitoring in both national parks and also within the National Parks Agency as a whole. On this project, we are building a fully open-source multi-platform solution for wildlife image classification.
